Jimmy Meris age 48, husband of Wendy Meris who is manager of operations for Peters MedicalResearch located within Bethany Medical, was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia in November 2009. Jimmy’s doctors have told him that without a bone marrow transplant, his chance for survival is 10 percent. Jimmy and Wendy have a beautiful daughter Lauren, age 20, and two loving puppies, Tinkerbell and Ramsey.
Joining the Marrow Registry is easy…
- Fill out a Registration/Health History form (Remember to bring names/address/phone number for two contacts )
- Have the inside of your cheek swabbed
To join the Be The Match Registry, you only need to be between the ages of 19 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need, and meet the health guidelines.
