Breaking and Entering Christmas 2009
The Murphy in the Morning Show with help from the Union Cross Firefighters and MANY others helped make Christmas very special for one Triad Family. The Greene family were pleasantly surprised when they arrived at their house and over 200 people were singing "We Wish you a Merry Christmas". Breaking and Entering truly shows the spirit of giving and Christmas.

KZL CLown Car
Each year when the circus comes to town the Murphy in the Morning show takes around our KZL Clown Car to see how many people can fit. The office to stuff the most people in the car wins tickets to the Greatest Show on Earth. Thank you to the offices of LeBauer Primary Care, Mendenhall Auto Auctions, and Wake Forest University's School of Medicine - Health Science Division. The winning office was Wake Forest University's School of Medicine - Health Science Division stuffing 18 people in the car!!!

Orianthi visits the Murphy in the Morning Show
Orianthi was supposed to tour with Michael Jackson as his guitarist in the upcoming "This Is It" tour. She is featured in the "This is It" movie, has played for Carrie Underwood and has a new single out called "According to You".

2009 Give A Kid A Coat Kick Off

Murphy In the Morning at the Kellar Radio Talent Institute
Jack, Jared, Katie and Josh took the morning show up to Appalachian State University for the Kellar Radio Talent Institute. Outta School and Into the Pool
 15th Annual Outta School into the Pool took place at Wet N Wild Emerald Pointe. It was a beautiful day and another one for the record books. Our 2000 tickets were gone before the gates opened at 7am! Thanks for another successful year!

Breaking & Entering Christmas 2008
Murphy in the Morning received hundreds of letters requesting help this holiday season for their family or friends. Each year 107-5 KZL chooses one lucky family to receive the Christmas of a lifetime, who with out the help of Murphy's Kids may not have had a very Merry Christmas.
Thank you for all the donations, wishes, time, money and energy spent in helping not only this family but many other families through out the Triad.

Murphy's kids bought 125 turkeys and distributed them through out the Triad to needy families. They stopped at 5 different places including Winston Salem, Kernersville, High Point and Greensboro. The first 25 people at each location received a free Turkey for Thanksgiving,
