I swear I bought the worst Christmas Tree of all time. Pine needles are dropping everywhere.  Even if I touch it very lightly, hundreds of pine needles drop on the floor. It's driving me crazy!  To make matters worse, I decorated the entire tree the best I could. I light up the tree and it looked great..............until.......... I went to vacum up the pine needles and accidentally vacumed up part of the lights. It got all caught up in the vacum cleaner and broke many of the lights.  Then I had to go out and buy new ones. I had to take the rest of the lights off that didn't get tangled.  I managed to knock down 75% of the decorations in the process. It was also quite difficult to put them back on because the lights usually go on the tree first.

So I took my 2 year old to visit my family in Rhode Island last Thursday till Sunday night. It was just me and him.  I haven't been to Rhode Island in about 5 years. It's funny how things change so much after you haven't seen them in awhile. For instance, even the trees around my father's house and on the roads seemed much bigger than they were before.  Signs seemed like they lost color and were worn out, and huge buildings that weren't there five years ago, are all built up. Almost like an eerie feeling.

It was Landon's (my 2 year old) first time on a plane. He was so cute walking around the airport. He refused for me to hold him. He wanted to be a big boy on his own. Just as we got to the ticket counter, a 3 Hour delay!!  No biggie, I got rescheduled and went to Charlotte for my connecting flight rather than Philly.. Only about an hour difference.  We got on the plane, I put him in the seatbelt and all of a sudden the pilot comes on and says an hour delay due to bad weather!  Because of the delay, it caused us to miss our connection flight and that had to be  rescheduled too!  To make a long story short, we got home near midnight...............without luggage!

Landon did such a great job for a 2 year old. We were traveling for 12 hours that day with all of the delays and he did great! It was a little touchy when the battery of the DVD player went out and he couldn't watch Blues Clues but other than that he was awesome.

Everyone got a kick out of him. His great Grandma, my dad, my stepmother, my mother. He is such a cute boy. My sister tried to warm up to him but she is not great with kids.

We went to Mystic aquarium early yesterday, and he loved it. He was running all around excited about the fish.  He is the best!

Anyway, glad to be back and thanks for listening to me on 1075KZL! 

Time flies doesn't it?!  I have a friend coming to the Triad tonight from my hometown in Rhode Island. We have been friends for about 18 years and used to hang out all the time. Over the years we have raised hell, gotten into trouble, and now we are all grown up. I haven't seen him in a couple years. He has never seen my 2 year old son. It will be shocking to him since I used to be a major party animal.  I think he still is a party animal so this weekend we will be hitting BAR 40 for Club 107.

Ya know, I have been kind of worried lately with this Swine Flu. I have also thought about what happens if there was ever a disease that could spread as easily as a cold that we couldn't find a vaccine for?  What if we came across a disease that killed you right away and spread easily. That would wipe us all out!  I swear we are like science project. What we are to ants, something else is to us. Freaky...

Can you believe that Christina Applegate was seen smoking? To me thats crazy! She just recovered from breast cancer. My mom had breast cancer and now everything she does is to fight against cancer.. She eats the best foods  and does every thing else  to stay healthy.

Anyway, my 2 year son is with his mom visiting his great Grandmother in Oxford NC. I never thought that I would miss someone so quick. He has only been gone since this morning. He will be back tomorrow too. He is extremely cute! He has his fathers looks! :) (photo is towards bottom of this page) I can't wait until he is potty trained. I still have a major issue with changing diapers. I almost throw up on him when I have to do it. I start dry heaving every time! This has been going 2 years and has not gotten any better.

We are getting ready for the big Flo-Rida meet N Greet this Thursday. He will be pulling up to the radio station in a huge tour bus. If you don't win your meet N Greet pass you may be able to wait outside the station and catch him as he is coming in. I am not for sure but I hear he is a really cool guy. He will also be coming with a couple big security guards from what I hear.

It was funny when I 1st introduced his song "Low" awhile back, I called him Florida like the state for a few days until one of our listeners told me it was Flo-Rida. What an idiot I am.

Over the weekend Tripper from the night show took me by to see his house. He has been living in it for like a year now. He got a great deal on it and everything. However, he would let me go inside. He said it was not unpacked yet and stuff was all over the house.. Not unpacked!  a year later!  He is a procrastinator. Make sure you call him up tonight and give him a hard time about being messy.
