Pleasant Garden Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

Bring your family to the Pleasant Garden Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 6 at 3:00pm. The parade starts at the corner of Pleasant Garden Rd. and Ryegate Dr and proceeds south on Pleasant Garden Rd, ending at Pleasant Garden Elementary School.

Leading the parade is this year's Grand Marshal, Tracey McCain of WFMY News 2. Participants include marching bands, dance teams, floats, Shiners NasCarts and Scooter Patrol, antique cars, and Santa Claus. Trophies will be presented for Best Float, Best Performance, and the Chairman's Award for the best overall entry. For the grand finale, join Christmas Carolers at Santa's house at the Pleasant Garden Fire Department as he lights the inaugural live Christmas tree. There are games and entertainment for the kids and donations of canned food to support the local food pantry will be accepted.

Everyone is welcome! Kick off your holiday season with the Town of Pleasant Garden's 36th Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony!

The “Safety First” project is an IB League Club initiative in collaboration with the Girl Scouts organization to raise safety awareness amongst elementary school children. Members of the club will teach the importance of these measures through fun presentations to students of selected Guilford County schools.

We need your help in leading the effort to collect safety gear for the children. This will give them an opportunity to apply the cautious behavior while participating in fun activities like skateboarding, bike riding etc. CLICK HERE for details on how to donate.
