Dog O Ween Rules 2012

1075 KZL DOG-O-WEEN 2012 - OFFICIAL RULES

WKZL will be live from Pet Supplies Plus, 2924 High Point Rd Greensboro, NC on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 10am until 1pm.
The animal costume contest is open to all animals, dog, cat, bird, mouse, horse, emu, etc....
COSTUME CONTESTS three (3) times during the appearance – these times are APPROXIMATE (10:00am,11:00am, 12:00pm) FOR ANIMALS.
One finalist will be selected from each hour's contest. – that finalist will compete with each hour’s finalist to determine a grand prize winner.
DEADLINE for arriving at the broadcast and entering is fifteen minutes prior to each scheduled judging and no later than 11:45am for the final judging.
If you choose, you may enter more than one pet as a group entry.
You may enter your pet(s) only one time during the contesting
OWNERS MAY DRESS UP but are not required to be in costume.
CREATIVITY COUNTS... (You may have an advantage if you AND your animal dress up).

COSTUME CONTEST PRIZES:

Grand Prize: One prize of $1,000.00 cash (payable by check within 4-6 weeks of winning).

2nd place Prize- One $315 Fuji Digial Camera Set. (Some restrictions may apply)

3rd place Prize- One $100 Hooters Gift Card (Some restrictions may apply)

THE FINE PRINT: The winning contestant will be responsible for all local, state, federal taxes and registration. No substitution of prizes or transfer of prizes to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. We reserve the right to amend, change, substitute, cancel or change any or all other the rules or prizes associated with the contest. 1075 KZL and Dick Broadcasting Company reserve the right to use all contestants’ likeness, (voice, photograph or otherwise), for on-air or promotional use.

Each hour’s finalist must be present at the end of 3 hours in order to receive their prize. Other prizes MAY be given away throughout the day. Judging will be done by a panel selected by 1075 KZL and may include, but is not limited to, 1075 KZL staff.

Rules are subject to and can be changed at any time.

ALL DECISIONS OF 107-5 KZL ARE FINAL.
