Welcome to a special edition of Pike's Playoff Picks. Tonight starts the march to what could be a State title for several of our local high school teams. With over 40 area schools in the playoffs theirs a chance we could have several win the whole thing in their various divisions. Without further adieu let's go to the matchups.
Our game of the week features the 9 and 2 Page Pirates as they host the 8 and 3 Titans of West Forsyth. It's unusual for two teams with great regular season records to meet in the first round, but that makes for a better matchup. Page scored over 420 points this season, while West Forsyth scored nearly 30 points per game. Which team will move on to the next round of the State Playoffs. Pike's Picks. The Pirates make the Titans walk the plank as they sail on to the next round 35 - 17.
